Fertilizing

  • Recommend 2 to 3 applications per season (early Spring, mid Summer and late Fall)
  • Use a balanced fertilizer with nitrogen (ie 23-23-0).
  • Our Tuff Turf fertilizer is the optimal blend to keep your Tuff Turf lawn looking green and healthy
  • Use 5 lbs of fertilizer per 1000sq ft.
  • Fertilize between May-September in 5-6 week intervals
  • Fertilizer type, and rate of application, can vary greatly depending on: soil type and condition, amount of rain, and soil compaction
  • Establish a routine that works for your lawn and stick to it
